MVA Car into SUV on Ocean Ave MAY 14 - On Friday, May 10th 2013 at 2245 hours, the Bohemia Fire Department was toned out for a Signal 23 MVA with a possible car fire on Ocean Avenue near Phillips St. On arrival, Chief Rich Andersen found a car crashed into the rear of a SUV with heavy steam showing from the damaged car's radiator and negative fire. Bohemia Activated to Assist West Sayville FD House Fire MARCH 20 - The Bohemia Fire Department was activated on March 19th 2013 at 21:24 hours for a working structure fire on Cloverdale Drive in Oakdale. Bohemia responded with a crew on Engine 3-12-7 under the direction of Chief Richard Andersen and 2nd Assistant Chief Sterling Haynes.
